For as long as I’ve known Carra, I’ve known of her grand love for adventure and her love for her family. So when she told me I would be capturing the love that her and Luke (her fiance) have for one another at her family’s property in scenic Arroyo Seco, New Mexico I was seriously SO STOKED. Especially because documenting their love in the snow that had just fallen in Taos was the perfect start to kick off the new year!
The Torres property is nestled beautifully in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. Her family has quite a few animals that live on the property which are seriously so rad, but the view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains from there is INSANE. It’s absolutely breathtaking! They also have a beautiful orchard that was a perfect backdrop for their stunning, snowy engagement photos (as well as a beautiful spot to tie the knot!).
The little barn with the beautiful cross on the door was a dream spot for Carra and Luke to take a moment to pray for one another as well as their marriage, hopes, and dreams for the future. Arroyo Seco, New Mexico in January is truly a magical winter wonderland.
